FOUNDER AND CEO BIO 

Jay Baldemor founded GRUV GEAR as a passion project to fill much needed gaps in the music gear market. With nearly 20 years experience as a bass player/musician, and over 12 years in product management and design, he found himself searching for specific solutions to make his gigging life easier, but discovered that they either did not exist, or players quietly settled for poorly designed products over the last decade or so. After a pilot launch in 2007 with the original V-CART™, Jay and his team of industrial designers and engineers soon confirmed a greater need, and immediately began the redesign of the next-generation V-CART SOLO™ based on feedback from endorsers and users. Jay notes, “We will be re-emerging at the 2010 NAMM Show as a company to watch. Lots of innovative products are already in the works — Look for something new from GRUV GEAR every few months this year!”
